Luna alibanwa ndani ya ngome yenye kutu, hakuweza hata kusogea, akiwa amezungukwa na woga na ukimya.

Luna was just a puppy but she had already seen what no soul should ever see.
She was next in line. Trapped in the brutal dog meat trade, Luna had no way out. No one was coming, Until someone like you made it possible. Because of a donation, our team rescued her before it was too late, She was pulled from that cage, treated, held, and shown kindness for the very first time. Today, Luna is safe. She sleeps in peace. She runs without fear.
She gets to live, because someone, somewhere, decided she was worth saving.
We found Luna in the back of a truck, crammed between metal bars with five other dogs. She couldn’t lift her head. Her legs were stuck, and she had cuts all over from the cage. She didn’t bark. She didn’t even cry. She just stared, frozen.
When we pulled her out, she didn’t resist. She was completely still, not because she trusted us, but because she had nothing left to give. We wrapped her in a towel and carried her like a baby.
At the clinic, she didn’t move for two days. The vet said it would take time, not just for her body to heal, but for her to feel safe again. We sat with her. We talked to her. We brought her soft toys and warm food. On day five, she licked one of our hands.
Weeks later, Luna started playing. She ran in circles the first time we let her outside. She barked, rolled in the grass, and chased butterflies like a puppy should. Now she’s adopted by a kind woman who works from home and says Luna won’t even nap unless she’s curled up next to her.
She went from a cage to a couch. From silence to joy. All because someone chose to act.
